ENDORSEMENT OF BILL & MARGARET PEOPLES We contacted Harper Group Pty Ltd as a referral from a friend as we were not satisfied with the financial advice we had been given by another advisor. We were not comfortable with the range of investments or the type of investments recommended by that adviser. These in the main consisted of, products associated with the adviser's employer, being one of the Banks. In addition our future income tax resulting from the recommendations would have been $10,000 ‑ $15,000. As a result of the recommendations made by the Harper Group Pty Ltd we are now more comfortable with the investments recommended. They have made recommendations which are independent and will earn greater income but with less risk. Further with, the strategies they have implemented, our income will increase by about $10,000 ‑ $15,000 annually and our tax will reduce by $5,000 ‑ $10,000 annually. We were very pleased to deal with Harper Group Pty Ltd as they did not charge commission or take trailing commission or other benefits. Endorsement Letter I originally came to Harper Group Pty Ltd to have my company placed into Liquidation because 1 believed it was insolvent due to a large debt owed to the Australian Taxation Office in the form of unpaid GST and PAYG. They reviewed the last 4 years of company and personal returns and concluded that the returns had been improperly prepared by my previous accountant. All income from the company had been assigned to me because of an incorrect application of the Personal Services Income Taxation rules. Therefore, I also had a large personal debt to the ATO. Harper Group Pty Ltd amended the returns and most of my personal taxation debt was reduced to virtually nothing. Harper Group Pty Ltd were able to restructure my affairs whereby my debts were cleared for a minimal amount, and I was able to get on with my business. Since then, significant new business opportunities have opened up and Harper Group Pty Ltd has been able to help me develop these opportunities.
